Jhanak and Avinash’s long-awaited wedding is approaching, but there are some underlying conflicts that may ruin the entire event. This has caused a lot of problems between her family members thereby leading to estrangement.

Written Update for Today (12th April 2024)
The episode opens with a flurry of wedding preparations. Preparations for Jhanak’s wedding are in full swing in her family. However, there is no happiness on her face. In fact, it is evident from the look on Jhanak’s face that she has some misgivings about this forthcoming marriage. The source of her dissatisfaction springs from Avinash’s traditional view about women.
He holds strong opinions that after getting married, Jhanak should not bother herself with education but rather concentrate more on domestic duties among other things.
Jhanak’s parents and other relatives remain unaware of what goes deep inside her mind; they regard Avinash as a perfect fit who can give Jhanak a secure future. They also pressurize her to conform to societal norms and respect the husband at all costs.
Anirudh, an ever-supportive character to Jhanak, vehemently opposes their marriage plan because; he knows what the girl is capable of doing and believes she deserves better opportunity to accomplish her educational goals. He supports her all through as she fights for her dreams.
The wedding rituals would start and the tension would be built up to a climax. Jhanak has mixed emotions – her strong sense of family expectations versus her craving for independence. A point in time comes when Jhanak is supposed to do what she is expected by placing her hands on Avinash’s feet. In an unexpected show of resistance, Jhanak declines to touch his feet causing shock all over.
It is at this point that rebellion occurs as a change in the story approach. The act of defiance disrupts the wedding ceremony and makes her family become aware of their daughter’s unhappiness. The scene ends with a question hanging in viewers’ minds leaving them guessing about what might happen after Jhanak’s actions and whether she will ever get married or not?
